I hope you have been enjoying the Spring sunshine and wrapping up warm in the pub garden from the chill of the shade. The Hall is now coming back to life, with students from the City of London School for Girls undertaking their exams in the Hall and Court Room over the next month; this is bringing in welcome income as well as supporting one of our neighbours.
The garden is looking glorious and attracting an increasing number of lunchtime visitors, including myself. The staff are also all keeping busy and looking forward to coming back together, especially to meet their new colleagues recruited over the past few months. I hope you have read and enjoyed the latest edition of Salt Talk (available via the website) and we are now already thinking about what to include in the 2020/21 Annual Review; don’t worry, it won’t all be about COVID!
Life is also returning to the City which has suffered badly over the past year. Let’s hope that the progress we are all seeing continues over the next month or so and the Hall can once again fulfil its purpose of supporting your fellowship.
